So recently I downloaded a cracked version of Fruity Loops 7, a music studio software.

I was playing around on it last night and started taking a stab at the vocoder abilities. They were awesome! Its alot weirder than the musicians make it seem, because although I should speak more monotone, I can't help but find my voice wandering with whatever note I'm playing at the same time.

And something I also didn't realize was how hard it is to find things to say to test it out, seeing as how I'm not much of a singer at all.



Tomorrow is the Mayhem Festival and I can't stop thinking about it. For some who don't know what the Mayhem Festival is, it's a large summer concert featuring nothing but metal bands. This year, Slayer and Marilyn Manson are headlining, and the other bands playing are Killswitch Engaged, Bullet for my Valentine, Cannibal Corpse, The Black Dahlia Murder, Job For a Cowboy, Whitechapel, Trivium, Hatebreed, God Forbid, and All That Remains.

So as you can tell, this is like the heavy metal version of Warped Tour. I'm positive that I'm gonna be sore afterwards, and probably not gonna be able to speak for a day or two, but it's all worth it. I just hope I can find Weasel, a friend of mine who's a huge metalhead like me, and his posse, since they're going too.
